THE SEMINAR
Organised within the framework of Marie Curie IAPP project Value ageing, the seminar represents a stimulating opportunity to share knowledge and deepen analysis about the e-inclusion of the elderly persons in the information society from two perspectives, academia and industry.

The incorporation of European values in ICT for older persons will be discussed in the light of the experience of ELDY (www.eldy.eu), an NGO promoting a free software to facilitate access to computers and the Internet by older persons and persons with disabilities.

The panel of speakers will include researchers from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), members of the ELDY platform and ELDYʼs technology partner Vegan Solutions s.r.l, as well as experts from the European Institutions and European old age organisations.

The seminar is occasioned by the launch of a version of ELDY in Dutch language, which will be presented and discussed with representatives of the Vlaamse OUDERENRAAD vz.
